Melissa spent 7 years homeschooling her three children, Andrew, Jacob, and Allie in both NC and GA. She has been married to John, the financial manager for an egg company, since 2003. Before becoming a mother, she taught first grade for 6 1/2 years. Teaching people of all ages is her passion, but she especially enjoys the elementary ages. She graduated from Covenant College with a bachelor’s in early childhood education.

Melissa enjoys organizing, planning, and leading and interacting with people in many facets of life whether in a homeschool group, bible study, church event, family vacation, or around the house. She also enjoys being with family. “May God receive the glory. He has done great things.”
